We are in a unique position, being able to restore almost any quality upright or grand piano manufactured during the 20th Century specialising in Bluthner and Bechstein. The company has specialist knowledge in the repair of these beautiful instruments. Every aspect of piano restoration is undertaken including full action overhaul, pinning, re-stringing and key re-covering. Major work includes soundboard repair and replacement.. We also fit new tuning planks made of laminated beech which will eliminate tuning problems. We will also be pleased to quote for casework re-polishing undertaken by a specialist company regarded as the finest in the trade.

We pride ourselves in repairing pianos using traditional methods. In this way we can guarantee that all moving components (and there are hundreds in the action alone) are thoroughly inspected, repaired and checked.

This is particularly effective with the smaller grands which can be rather dull and uninteresting. For example, the designs of the 'Art Deco' period can be effective where something striking and appealing is required. We are able to design something especially for you.
